Tonic Design Studio's owner, Willem Stear creates a distinctive international style that blends classic and contemporary. European and African design influences create a unique and eclectic mix.

Born in South Africa, Willem Stear studied at the Calder School of Interior Design in Johannesburg after which he worked with several notable South African designers.

Prior to relocating to the US in 2008, Willem worked on projects in London, Paris, Switzerland, Israel, Dubai, Boston, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
